He shared lots of interesting facts about the clock tower itself, other buildings and history of the square that we wouldn’t have been aware of otherwise. We were able to enter the clock tower quickly as tickets had been prearranged, and to then climbed the tower independently of the guide. If you want to use the main tower lift, there is an extra fee, however, the climb is made easy as it is a ramp that winds the tower, not steps.…”
